Real Weddings

Leigh-Ann & Rob were real foodies. They wanted a day of good food and drink surrounded by their fabulous friends. Their bouquet, buttonholes, and table flowers were made by us from our gardens. We served them lots of canapés, smoked beef, za-tar crusted cauliflower and autumnal pavlovas. Washed down with plenty of Camel Valley Sparkling wine, and Malbec (they made the most of our corkage free policy on wine). In the evening they enjoyed our smoked lamb swarmers and we made a personalised cocktail menu that included Espresso Martinis (Leigh-Ann's favourite) and Vespers (Rob's favourite).

Sophie & Jacob told us in our planning meetings how much they loved tea, chocolate tiffin and a Victoria sponge. We decided to serve lots of different types of tea during their welcome drinks and create a petit four table for their pudding as well as a Victoria sponge that they could cut into for their cake.  The day was full of fun with garden games, cocktails, pizzas, a ceilidh dance, toasted marshmallows, and a sparkler exit. Dartmoor Flowers did gorgeous bright and seasonal flowers.

Amy & Tom booked Uphill Farm as their venue with just a virtual tour. They wanted a relaxed venue, with good food, bright flowers and fun. We served Singapore slings as their welcome drinks, with canapés, followed by a starter of trio of brushettas, smoked beef then pavlovas. They had bao buns in the evening. Dartmoor Flowers did a beautiful job of the flowers - she had a brief of cheerful and she certainly delivered on that. It was the rainiest day of 2023 and did not stop chucking it down all day, but proof that the weather doesn't make a difference here.

Leigh & Alex wanted a relaxed wedding with good food and a nice space to bring all their nearest and dearest together to enjoy, regardless of their age. We did the flowers from our gardens and created spaces for the adults and kids to enjoy.
